Welcome to the official website of the HPE-CERTIFIED PALLETS group – your pallet experts. Quality and security are of utmost importance when it comes to pallets. Against this background, HPE has devised its Pallet Guidelines, setting new standards for users and manufacturers. Much like the Packaging Guidelines, the Pallet Guidelines are a quality standard for those manufacturers who are committed to the highest quality and clearly defined standards. These manufacturers can mark their products with the HPE CERTIFIED PALLETS logo.
EXPERT GROUP MEMBERS
This is a list of all expert group members who are licensed to bear the HPE CERTIFIED PALLETS quality seal. This list is constantly updated.
All certified companies have several years of experience in packaging industrial and export goods and are audited by independent certification bodies on a regular basis.
TOP QUALITY
Manufacturers of wooden pallets who commit to the high industry standard have united to form the HPE CERTIFIED PALLETS expert group. Quality assurance follows a multi-facet approach: One aspect is auditing of expert group members, who get to use a special expert group logo if they pass certification. Another is the HPE Pallet Guidelines, which provides detailed rules for the manufacturing and use of pallets.
SAFETY AND TRANSPARENCY
The member companies of the CRETIFIED PALLETS expert group in the German Federal Association for wooden packaging, pallets and export packaging are committed to a clearly defined, high level of quality in manufacturing and distributing wooden pallets. This high quality standard is described in the HPE Pallet Guidelines. You can recognize pallets that were manufactured according to this standard by an additional marking with the sign and manufacturer number.
CERTIFICATION
Expert group audits are our most important quality assurance instrument. Membership in the expert group is only open to companies that are part of HPE and have many years of experience in manufacturing wooden pallets.
These companies ensure compliance with the HPE Pallet Guidelines by means of voluntary obligation and external audits by independent inspectors, guaranteeing pallet users reliable quality. As a result, customers of expert group members can be certain that only thoroughly audited companies get to bear the HPE CERTIFIED PALLETS label.
PALLET GUIDELINES
The Pallet Guidelines show customers which aspects are important when ordering pallets, and how our manufacturers meet these requirements.
The focus lies on structural analysis for pallet loads using the PALLET-Express software and product specific requirements for selecting the ideal pallet for a customer’s needs.
The guidelines specify the individual aspects for designing and manufacturing pallets and will become the standard reference for quality pallets in Germany.
The expert group HPE-Certified Pallets is organized by Bundesverband Holzpackmittel, Paletten und Exportverpackung e.V. in Bad Honnef.
